The Hooey stick is a classic old time wood children's toy.

It is known by quite a few names ranging from the Gee Haw Whimmy Diddle to the Truth Stick

The trick of the toy is in making the propeller turn by rubbing the two sticks together.

When done correctly you can make it stop and reverse directions on a dime producing quite an amazing effect, especially when done in front of children.
